One of Lucy’s treasured possessions is a pastel picture of a beach by her father. He made it when he was a young boy whilst on holiday in Devon. Lucy used his scene as inspiration for the backdrop in this picture, which depicts her father and his sisters in their matching vintage knitwear, enjoying a peaceful carefree moment. This belied the sad irony that this was the day before the second world war broke out.
Sadly we are unable to send mounted or framed prints outside of the UK but we can offer a print rolled into a postal tube as pictured.
