Lucy has just finished this commission for an upcoming Civil Ceremony to be held this spring. It will be used on the invitations as well as providing a permanent reminder of the occasion, once framed.

Lucy will be hoping to face one of her greatest challenges, her fear of heights, when she will do a tandem parachute jump along with her Aunty Mary in aid of charity, in May. It’s likely to be a life-changing experience for her and we will let you know which charity she will be supporting and ways that anyone can donate.
It’s probably the nearest she’ll come to flying like a (very fast) Fairy!
‘Fairy Fair’ News

Once again, the Fairy Fair is coming to town with all the usual wonderful stands and events that we have come to love over the years. Holt Hall will again be the venue and Lucy will have her tent for colouring-in, plus an exhibition of prints and paintings, and she’ll be sharing space with Wilma of Wildwood Wands so loads of colourful things to see.
Dates are: Sun 29th and Mon 30th May (Bank Holiday weekend) and…..

The big hope for 2011 is that we can finish building some new studio space for Lucy which she currently shares with the office, workshop, and general art storage mayhem. It just about works at the moment but we really need to Clear that Clutter!
Latest prediction is to move in somewhere around June…..maybe.

Although house portraits are very time-consuming they are very personal and evocative and Lucy loves to do them.

As promised, an update from Osaka, Japan, where Lucy is dressing-up and wowing the fans in Japan. Some that we met last year have returned and Lucy has spread some of her magic with the help of the Magic Wands that Wilma Wildwood created which are also selling well.
Long days followed by adventurous dining experimentation!

Going Japanese

Once again we are off to Japan in October to have a stand at the British Fair 2010, this time at the Hankyu department store in Osaka.
As you can see, Lucy’s magic reached a full range of Japanese fans. It’s half way round the world and a long time to sit on a plane but the Japanese are the most wonderful, friendly and courteous people you could meet, so if you get the chance…..go!

There’s magic out there if you look for it…
Lucy has met the amazing Wilma of Wildwood Wands who makes the finest wands in the land.
Together they have come up with a range of wands and their combined talents can be found at various fairs around East Anglia (especially the Fairy Fair, which will be at Holt Hall again in 2011 and the Vintage Lover Fair - Sunday 8th August).
