If you live in or near Norwich, or even if you can get hold of a copy of this months Eastern Daily Press ‘Norfolk’ magazine, then you can be in with a chance of winning a Lucy commission all of your own! The painting will be a ‘Loveheart’ with a value of at least £1000 so if you possibly can it’s well worth a try.

Its really very easy to enter and you have until Feb 22nd to take part.

Good luck!

The World at our Feet

Posted 20th January, 2012

Lucy has just finished this commission for a family who wanted her to paint their world depicting all their favourite people and places.

Personalised prints were created for different family members by painting individual symbols and figures at the top.

Country Living Fair 2011

Posted 16th November, 2011

Finally back home after a whirlwind of painting, printing, packing, driving, unloading, setting-up, and then running the stand for 5 manic days. Its been utterly exhausting but an amazing experience and Lucy and Sara (of Wildwood Makers) did an incredible job…..ably assisted by the wonderful Brondie, Clarissa, Catie, Hannah and Janice. Special thanks to Tai for some manly input and transport arrangements and to those of you who provided food and shelter throughout the week……Lynn & Tai, Tom & Erica, Joanna & Adam…..couldn’t have done it without you! See you next year?

Thanks also to everyone who came to the stand and the positive feedback that you all gave.

New Dawn,

Posted 18th October, 2011

At last, after 2 years of planning and toil, we have moved into the new studio — affectionately known as the ‘Newdio’. If we can get the heating to work then we’ll have a cosy space to create great art over the winter.  The first projest will be preparing the stock for the Country Living Fair where Lucy will have a stand with Sara from ‘Wildwood’ which runs from 9th-13th Nov at the Islington Business Design Cent.  There you will be able to get paintings, prints, postcards, magic wands, dolls, fairy dust, and myriad other magical gifts. Watch this space for further updates about the fair…..

The big move

Posted 15th September, 2011

After a long 2 year journey we are finally about to move into the new studio space next week which will change our working lives forever!

We will have 3 rooms instead of 1 so cannot wait. All is currently white space but doubtless will soon fill up with all the detritus of our working life within a few hours.

Will report back soon on how it all goes…..

She did it!

Posted 21st May, 2011

At 9.45am on Fri 20th May, Lucy jumped, or at least her tandem jump instructor did, from a small plane above the rolling Suffolk countryside. Free-falling for 45sec (the scary bit) and then 7 tranquil (ish) minutes of parachuting down to earth on a beautiful sunny day. This is essential practice on the way to becoming a qualified Fairy and she passed with literal flying colours. In the process she has raised nearly £1,500 for Parkinsons UK and the donation page will remain active for a few weeks yet at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LucyLoveheart

The Jump is Go!

Posted 10th May, 2011

As promised, Lucy will be facing her fear of heights and will jump out of a plane strapped to someone who actually knows what they are doing on Fri 20th May at Beccles airfield in Suffolk. As someone who has known her a long time I am well impressed and will be there to cheer her on but she will also be jumping to raise money for ‘Parkinsons UK’ so if you would like to sponsor her then please visit her donations page at:  http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/LucyLoveheart

We will let you know how she does……
